Pastor David Brown
I would love to welcome you into our family as we grow in faith, serve with purpose, and follow Christ together.
Pastor David L. Brown, Jr. answered God’s call to ministry at an early age, preaching his first sermon at just 17 years old under the leadership of Pastor G. W. Lewis at Union Baptist Church in Norwood, Louisiana. Pastor Lewis has served faithfully as both pastor and mentor to Pastor Brown and continues to provide spiritual guidance to this day.
Pastor Brown is a proud graduate of Inter-Baptist Theological Seminary, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Religious Education. His ministry is marked by a deep commitment to biblical teaching, spiritual growth, and compassionate leadership.
Serving alongside Pastor Brown in both life and ministry is his wife, Sister Creshell Brown. Pastor Brown often reflects on their partnership with gratitude, describing his wife as truly God-sent. He shares that their union was divinely orchestrated, acknowledging that while their journey has not been without challenges, God has faithfully guided every step along the way.
Together, Pastor and First Lady Brown are humbled and honored to serve the Lord and the Greater Community Bible Baptist Church family. Their shared passion for ministry is rooted in faith, service, and a heartfelt desire to see lives transformed through the power of God’s Word.
